A meditation hall was inaugurated at Dihika Dhyana Kendra by Swami Shantananda Giri on March 22, 2011. Previously, the group meditations and commemorations were being held in various temporary makeshift halls. In the initial years, it was a straw-clad hutment that fitted well with the serenity and rural ambience of the locality. Gradually, it evolved to have a cement floor with an altar while a bamboo-structure supported the straw-thatched roof. By 2010, the number of devotees had largely increased; additionally, the location of the Kendra as an ideal place for retreat necessitated the requirement of a permanent Dhyana Mandir.
The construction work started in mid-2010 for this purpose. Over the next few months, a Dhyana Mandir, a two-storied Guest House to accommodate more than 30 devotees and a Reception Office were built. The meditation hall has a seating capacity of about 50 people. The existent pond was dug deep and wide enough to hold water for the entire year. Its banks were nicely decorated with stones
